Japan Disaster Appeal
Dear friends,
I am sure you have heard so much about the series of disasters which have recently struck Japan with such horrendous consequences, they have created terrible hardship and loss, with ongoing issues such as limited access to food, shelter, and medical support. The loss of and damage to communal infrastructure is hampering rescue and support efforts, and the risk of disease from contaminated drinking water is very real.
A group of us, now known as "friends holding hands" decided to try to raise some money to help the people of Japan by holding a fundraiser at 5pm until 8pm on Thursday 31st March 2011 at Sedona Suites in Hanoi.
Please accept this invite to join us there for a drink and a bite to eat, generously donated by many of Hanoi's restaurants. We will be holding a raffle and a silent auction during the event with music provided by some of the shining stars within the Japanese community. Bring the kids, as we will have a dedicated play area too. A donation will be requested on the door.
After 8pm the party will move onto Le PUB at 9 Xuan Dieu who have generously agreed to give a slice of the profits to this great cause. Please join us there any time in the evening. No cover charge.
